So Many Things, So Little Time…

Project 1999 is an almost-classic EQ server hosted in EQemu network. I created my first character on May but the last couple of weeks I started playing in it most of my free time. I don’t play there because it’s free, the only reason I play is because it’s my only option of Classic EverQuest I can get my hands on. I’ve tried so many games and they just couldn’t keep me hooked as good as EverQuest did. If you like Classic EverQuest (pre Luclin) then you should give Project 1999 a chance.

So far you’re going to play Original EverQuest (No Expansions and even no Planes). The server been up for awhile so there are plenty of level 50 but there are a lot of level 1-30 on the server (I am level 22 now). At peak hours the server get really crowded 800+ players online (East Commons zone has 160ish players online) and I heard someone saying that it did reach 1700 players online (damn if that’s true). I’ve never experienced such active server in my life (minus SOE EQ Classic Progressive Server). Keep in mind they never invested any kind of advertisement on it.

I don’t have time to give full detail of what you’d expect or how to install it, just check their website out at www.project1999.org.

StarCraft 2 was released few days ago. I bought an online Digital Copy since GameStop gave me the finger and said that my Collector’s Edition Pre-Order has some “problems” and that I should buy the game from their “local stores”… Well, there are no gamestop stores in a thousands of miles diameter of where I live thank you for wasting my chance of grabbing a CE copy of StarCraft 2. They should have told me BEFOREHAND that I was going to face some problems. I see that they had NO problems deducting the $5 deposit two months ago which they will not refund and now they give me the finger… Just wanted to share my problem just in case you are going to have to decide where to buy your games from, online.
