EverQuest III

Sony Online Entertainment is up to something and reading Phil James’ article in MMORPG.com here and I quote “There has been a lot of speculation about Everquest Next (or EQIII as I’ll be referring to it here, even though it’s certainly not going to be called that). Should the developers ever take leave of their senses and give me carte blanche to add what I please to the next EQ instalment, what would I want?“. Yes, I’ve heard about the rumors and that SOE is working on making “EverQuest Next” project. Guess what else I’ve found?

Yes, Brad McQuaid the Lead Designer of EverQuest the original and his famous “Vision”. Brad just came back to his blog after 8 months of absence and he said “I’ve been busy and I’m looking into some gaming opportunities.  Nothing I can reveal, but I am excited!“.

Putting the puzzles together. I’m guessing SOE will release EverQuest Next (EverQuest 3) and Brad McQuaid is going to be the leader designer.
